The poverty which comes with persecution also brings its own set of healthcare issues. These can include malnutrition, diarrhoea, malaria, pneumonia and measles. It can also lead to serious mental health problems. To that end we intend to support schemes which will provide medication and medical care for those who are unable to pay for such services. This could be helping with the costs of vaccines, antibiotics, consultations with healthcare professionals and hospitalisation.
