BiafraAid Australia will primarily operate through a system of existing partnerships on the ground in Biafra Land. Partners will help us to identify those most in need, and it is through them that we will be able to make grants and, where necessary, provide ongoing income to help people through the worst of their difficulties.
BiafraAid Australia will maintain ongoing relationships with its beneficiaries to help ensure they are able to live independent lives.
In the future BiafraAid Australia’s support may include sponsoring education, training and reskilling programs to help beneficiaries generate their own income, as well as making grants to enable the establishment of small business ventures.
Over the longer-term BiafraAid Australia aims to provide the tools needed to enable all Biafrans, not just victims of persecution, to live independent and fulfilled lives in dignity.
