BiafraAidAustralia is a new charity and so will treat requests for support as unique requests, and in response we will design ‘tailor made’ responses to each and every application. Experts have advised us that this is the best way forward for the time being.
We are confident that over time, patterns will emerge, which will eventually enable us to be more specific about how much support we can offer to different types of applications.
BiafraAidAustralia treats each application for funding on its own merits. We will fund or part fund groups and individuals whose circumstances are aligned with the Mission and Aims of BiafraAidAustralia.
a) Are of Biafran heritage; and
b) Identify themselves as Biafran
BiafraAidAustralia will require evidence, preferably documented evidence, to support an individual’s claim to be Biafran as well as proof of their need for medical or financial assistance.

Please state clearly what sort of funding you are requesting, how much you think you will need and why you need funding. You must also provide us with information on where you live and your particular circumstances for us to be able to process your request.
Applications from groups and individuals will be treated in the strictest confidence and will be judged on their individual merits according to our funding criteria.
